BioControl - Latest Issue

The journal publishes interdisciplinary papers with a global perspective on the use of biological control in integrated pest management systems, and related developments in molecular biology and biotechnology that have direct relevance.

How did you become a biological control practitioner?

One of the questions that IOBC-Global regularly receives is what a person has to study to become a biocontrol practitioner. 

There is no straightforward answers to this questions as there are many roads to obtain a position in biological control.

1. Individual Membership  
  • 90 EURO/year: Without subscription to "BioControl" 
  • 140 EURO/year: With online subscription to "BioControl"
  • 190 EURO/year: With paper version subscription to "BioControl"
2. Supporting Membership
For small institutions, libraries, departments and companies; a supporting membership covers all employees of the unit holding the membership. Supporting members have currently no right to vote in the elections and consultations. 
Minimum fees are:
  • 350 EURO/year: Without subscription to "BioControl" 
  • 400 EURO/year: With online subscription to "BioControl"
  • 450 EURO/year: With paper version subscription to "BioControl"

3. Institutional Membership
For public research / teaching institutions; an institutional membership covers all employees of the unit holding the membership. Included are up to four free subscriptions to the paper version of "BioControl".
Please contact the Treasurer if your institution wishes to become a member of IOBC-WPRS.

*: The IOBC-WPRS membership is valid for 1 year (from subscription date). However, the subscription period for BioControl is the calendar year (Jan.-Dec.), valid from the date of subscription.
