Greetings to all of you as autumn approaches

We certainly hope you’ve had a good summer - if a notably dry one. Were you heartened by some promise of clean energy and climate progress, with the measures in the Inflation Reduction Act?

Mark your calendars!

This autumn, there are many exciting opportunities to learn about clean energy transitions underway and we hope to see you at some or all of these events

Wed-Thurs September 21-22: Radically Rural includes a Clean Energy track with intriguing presentations and panels over both days. You can register for either in-person attendance in Keene or virtual attendance at a lower rate.

Saturday September 24, 12-4 PM: Drive Electric Expo at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH - Organized by MSH in collaboration with Franklin Pierce - free and open to the public.

Electric vehicle drivers and all interested local residents are invited to attend the Drive Electric Event on Saturday, September 24th at Franklin Pierce University, Rindge, NH from 12-4 pm to see the clean-air benefits, cost-savings and fun provided by electric cars. Electric vehicle owners will be on hand to answer questions and may offer rides and test drives. A few electric bikes may be on hand, too. Any EV or EBike owners planning to attend, please contact us in advance at President@MonadnockSustainabilityHub.org

This event is one of hundreds of Drive E events across the country, as part of National Drive Electric week. Electric vehicle owners, government and community leaders are holding electric car parades, “tailpipe-free” tailgate parties, ride-and-drives, and other public events to celebrate electric vehicles. For the local event, Monadnock Sustainability Hub is collaborating with Franklin Pierce University and the National Drive Electric organizers: Plug In America, the national Sierra Club, and the Electric Auto Association.

“MSH has held at least one Drive E event a year in the Monadnock region since 2018, with virtual events during the pandemic including production of a short video. This will be our 3rd Drive E event this year, a new high for us” reports John Kondos, MSH board member and EV owner.
