The Art, Wine & Beer Walk Needs Your Help:
Our Stadium District Association is looking for a few helpers for the Art, Wine & Beer Walk on Sept 10th. The most urgent need is for some folks to help with cleanup from 7;45-9:15 pm on Saturday. There are also other volunteer opportunities available. Everyone who volunteers also gets to attend the event for free. This is a great opportunity for the FPC family to show that we are FOR Tacoma. Please call the church office if you are interested in helping out.
Join us on Sunday, Sept 18th as we partner with the Stadium District Association to clean up our neighborhood. Meet at 11:45 at the Columbia Bank parking lot to check in. Help pick up trash from 12-1. Then, enjoy a complimentary drink at a participating establishment and watch the game with your neighbors. Our last cleanup was a huge success! Come help us continue this awesome neighboring opportunity.
After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus due to Covid restrictions, our Chancel Choir is returning to ministry this Fall! Next Sunday, Sept. 11th, we’ll enjoy a great lunch and wonderful view of Puget Sound at the Maurmann’ s after church (5224 18th St. NW, Gig Harbor). All who are interested in participating in choir are welcome to attend!

Our first choir rehearsal is Wednesday, Sept. 14th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in Ferguson Chapel. No auditions are required, and childcare is provided upon request. We are excited to be reuniting as a choir family and hope that you will join us as we help lead our congregation in worship. Please email Daniel Perrin with any questions (dperrin@fpctacoma.org) or call 425-442-4523.
Women’s Bible Study is gearing up for another great series starting in the fall. We’ll have an in-person option (Tuesday mornings) and one on Zoom (Tuesday evenings). The 14- week series, Encountering God, will focus on practicing spiritual disciplines for a more vibrant spiritual life and to know God more intimately. Click the link below for more info and to register.

We're looking for people to volunteer once or twice a month on Thursday mornings from 9am-11:30am.

Please contact Barb Gehrett at thebkg17@gmail.com or (253) 431-6145.
