Tog Season!!

The most wonderful time,...of the year! The season everyone waits for, the season where big men in warm clothing cry like little girls. The season where men dance about the deck and try to contain themselves when they hook into "the one" (and then lose it-if this is YOU then you know who I'm talking about).

Today had ":Carlos and Krew" who filled the box with sea bass and then hit a tog spot on the way in for almost a dozen keepers in 40 minutes. Many of the fish were in the 5-6 pound class but no monsters yet. That is the way the inshore trips have been all week with mostly excellent sea bass fishing with the big exception being Coxes Ledge which seems to be going through a poor spell. Of course, that can change on any day.

We have not been doing well with stripers in The River the past two weeks but that should all change with this current NE flow and the cooler temps it is bringing. The proof will be on Thursday morning (09/08) when we will be casting in the river at 4am...There is still room!

The next email update will have a concise open boat schedule through tog season but for now, there is room for both Tuesday and Thursday of next week with the primary focus on tog/blackfish. There are some pop up schools of bonito, albi's, stripers and blues around as well and we are always ready to cast for them but it is very "hit or miss".
Tuesday is 6am/6 hours ($175) and Thursday is 7am/5 hours ($150).
