The Trailblazer Race is back in person!

Trailblazer Race:
We are writing to you because you have participated in the Trailblazer Race in the years past.

After two years of virtual races, the Trailblazer Race is back as an in-person event on Sunday, September 25, 2022. It will be a morning of fun and healthy activities for the whole family. The 10K & 5K races, and the 3-mile walk are on scenic, fast, and flat courses. There will be free kids’ activities for toddlers to age 10, a festival area with snacks, exhibits, and prize drawings. The race will start and finish at Microsoft's Silicon Valley Campus (1045 La Avenida St., Mountain View, CA 94043), and the course will take runners along the Stevens Creek Trail and into Shoreline Park. In addition, there are volunteer opportunities available for race day and before. Volunteers may sign up here (https://sites.google.com/stevenscreektrail.org/trailblazer-race-2022). All volunteers receive a free race T-Shirt, refreshments and entry into our prize drawing.

Come see us at the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival on Sep 10 & 11

The MV Art & Wine Festival is back this year at full force on Castro St after a 2 year hiatus. As we have for the past few decades, the Friends of Stevens CreekTrail will be tabling and providing bike parking at the NE corner of Castro and Church Streets. The Friends could use some help from a few volunteers.

The festival is September 10 and 11. On Saturday the 10th, the hours are 11 AM to 7 PM and on Sunday the 11th, the hours are 10 AM to 6 PM. We have divided our work shifts into 2 four hour shifts each day. If you are interested please let me know. Also, please let me know which day (Saturday or Sunday) and which shift (first or second) you prefer. Each shift will have a knowledgeable FoSCT Board Member present.
