We have four (4) types of ticket options available:

1--Spotlighted ticket-- $40 per ticket -- name will be listed in the program and admits one person to each of the four performances.

2-- Season ticket-- $35 per ticket-- admits one person to each of the four performances.

3--Senior/child ticket $30 per ticket-- admits one senior/child to each of the four performances.

Please note---Single tickets to each performance will be available for $10 for each show. available after September 23

A New Face at The Workshop

Please help us welcome our newest member of The Olean Theatre Workshop family:

Alex Scalise

Alex, who is also the middle-high school choral teacher at Allegany-Limestone, will be teaching our Pre-K-1, 2-4, and middle school courses and is thrilled to be joining the team. Having performed in several high school productions, including Jan in Grease (for which she won the Blossom Cohen Award), she has also performed in various operatic productions and choral ensembles at SUNY Fredonia. Alex holds a bachelors and master’s degree in Music Education from Fredonia with a concentration in voice and looks forward to helping her students find and hone their voice while building confidence.

When she is not singing, she enjoys making her signature chocolate chip cookies and playing the ukulele.She is excited to work with our students to show them the importance of theatre as more than just entertainment. She wants to build social skills, problem solving, and emotional intelligence with our students all while encouraging their abilities in singing, dance and musicality

When asked for her favorite musical Alex says “The Phantom of the Opera because
it’s my dad’s favorite musical. He always listened to the original London Cast's recording with me, and it holds a special place in my "heart.”

FRI- SEPT 9 --- BETWEEN 6 AND 8 PM OR

SAT- SEPT 10 --- BETWEEN NOON AND 2 PM

All classes begin the week of September 12.

Monday— 5:00-6:30 8 to 12 Grades 1 and ½ hours class   Tuition $40 per month
Tuesday--     4:00-4:30:    preK-K-1 class ½ hour class             Tuition $20 per month
4:35- 5:15 2-4 class 40 minute class                 Tuition $25 per month
5:20-6:30 5 to 7 Class hour 1hour 10 minutes Tuition $30 per month

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Monday---Grades 8-12 Mon 5:00-6:30- 1 hour and 30 minute class $40 per month
Students will expand performance skills and develop vocal and dance technique as they practice and present medleys from hit musicals. During the year they will present a major musical.

Grades PreK-K-1 Tues 4:00-4:30 --30 minute class - cost $20 per month
Students will develop self-expression and creativity while learning social skills and cooperation through theater games, music, and song and dance.

Grades 2-3-4 Tues 4:35- 5:20– 45 minute class cost $25 per month
Students continue to develop self-expression and creativity while learning social skills and cooperation through theater games, music, and song and dance.

Grades 5-6-7 Tues 5:20-6:30 1 hour and 10 minutes cost $30 per month
Students will learn the basic techniques of stage acting: using voice, body, and mind to pursue objectives, overcome obstacles, create characters and scenes, and work as an ensemble. They will present several medleys through the year.
