We are back live at the Greater Plymouth Community Center. We are all looking forward to seeing old friends, making new ones, and seeing an actual LIVE Speaker.
One More Thing -- GPCC has not extended its hours, so we will continue to start at 6:30 PM. Please be on time so we can take care of dues collections before the meeting gets rolling.

September's Speaker - Henry Ramsey
Kettle Creek's Class A Wild Tributaries

Henry Ramsey on a wild tributary

|
Henry caught his first trout more years ago than he cares to admit, and the magic of catching fish has not faded with time or with repetition. His journey in the world of fly fishing began during boyhood over thirty-nine years ago when he first saw someone fishing with flies they tied themselves. That image was mesmerizing. It still remains clear in his mind today. From that day on he's always been an avid fly tier and fly fisherman
Today, Henry wears many hats; website owner, Henry Ramsay Flies and Photography; fly tier, angler, author and guide. His fly tying is a near daily activity for him and the focus has always been on learning new ways to imitate nature or to improve on older designs. He grew up in the east and fished all over his home state of Pennsylvania as well as New York, Maryland and Colorado. The legendary spring creeks of the Cumberland Valley, the storied rivers of the Catskills, the mountain brooks of the Poconos and Appalachians have provided him with the opportunity to develop, test and refine his fly patterns, to match their hatches, and develop effective techniques for fishing all of these waters.
Henry has published several excellent fly tying and fishing books including Matching Major Eastern Hatches, New Patterns for Selective Trout.
