All members who have yet to renew were contacted recently. Thanks to all of you who have renewed. All remaining members will receive a follow-up this week. Membership continues to cost £10 for Adults and Families and £5 for Seniors and Juniors (under 16s). 



Match Day presence is beefed up

We have increased our match day presence with new kiosks which will be manned by representatives on match days. As well as our Study Centre surgeries, we will have reps in the Fan Zone and in the East Stand concourse. Members can renew their memberships or just chat about the club and the Trust. Come and see us!




Fans enjoy being 'in the zone' - and the three points

The Blues got the job done on Saturday. Admittedly, it wasn’t stylish but they bagged what mattered most – three points.

The 1-0 win against Gillingham was vital to keep United on track after an injury-disrupted start to the season.

The visitors were no mugs and it was just the sort of game fans have become accustomed to seeing us lose. That, perhaps, explains the nervousness in the stadium that boss Paul Simpson spoke about in his post-match interviews.

However, it was a gritty and hard-earned victory that showed just how far we have come since Simpson took the helm back in February.

And it meant fans could, rightly, hang on to the optimism they have about the new season.

While the performance on the field was, maybe, not ‘top-of-the-class’ there were plenty of high grades to hand out off the pitch.

The club worked hard in the close season with their catering partners John Watt and Son and are reaping success.

The Fan Zone behind the West Stand was buzzing and busier than it has ever been.

Supporters were enjoying the atmosphere and, of course, that rare Cumbrian phenomenon – sunshine. The club are likely to be exploring all the options for when more usual Carlisle weather returns.

And if the sun helped in the Fan Zone it also showed the Brunton Park pitch in all its glory. Dave Mitchell and his ground staff have done a magnificent job once again and there cannot be many better playing surfaces throughout the EFL.

Let’s hope the sun is shining once more this Saturday when the Blues are at home again. They have a chance to make ground in the top half of the table if they can defeat Rochdale.

 United should be near full strength with Morgan Feeney, Owen Moxon and Ryan Edmondson all ready to make an impact after recovering from injury.

 CUOSC representatives will be around the ground - in the Fan Zone, the concourse under the East Stand and in the study centre (next to the club shop) - available to chat to fans.
