Brush Pickup - Fall '22

 

Curbside Brush Pickup – Fall, 2022

October 3 – October 7  -Main & East of Main St (Hwy 29)-

October 10 – October 14   -West of Main St (Hwy 29)-

  

 Please observe the following rules when placing brush out for collection.

  • Brush up to 3” in diameter is acceptable in lengths no greater than 12 feet.
  • Brush up to 6” in diameter is acceptable in lengths no greater than 8 feet.
  • Brush greater than 6” in diameter cannot be accepted at the curb.  Larger brush including stumps up to 12” in diameter at ground level can be taken to the yard waste site.  (Compost Permit Required, contact lzeamer@villageofbellevue.org)
  • Avoid cutting brush shorter then needed as fewer pieces results in less handling for crews.
  • Lay brush in piles at the curb with the branches laying parallel to the street.  All branches should be laying in the same direction.
  • DO NOT place leaves or garden waste in with the pile of branches.

Labor Day 2022

Hello! The Village of Bellevue offices will be closed on Monday, September 5, to celebrate Labor Day. We will be back open on Tuesday, September 6.

August 2022 Building Permit Activity

The Village of Bellevue issued 87 building permits for the month of August for a total permitted value of $6,627,287.  This amount added to the yearly total brings the total number of permits issued for 2022 to 457 and a total permitted value of $32,564,017.  That compares to 435 permits issued for a value of $23,694,345 for the same period of 2021.

The Village issued 9 new single-family permit for the month bringing the total number of single-family permits issued to 36 for the year. That compares to 39 single-family permits issued for the same period last year.
