Welcome to Week 8.

The term is quickly passing by with the daylight hours becoming longer and the weather slowly improving.

We hope that all our dads, grandpas, pops, uncles and all those who act as father figures to our children had a very happy Father’s Day. A big thankyou to Kelly Hegarty and her group of helpers for giving of their time and running the Father’s Day stall.

This Sunday at 11.00am we celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with our Grade 6 children.

Reconciliation for Confirmation Candidates is this Thursday, 8th September at 6pm in St. Patrick's Church.

Last week we had six Year 6 boys attend the MacKillop Cricket trials. All students participated to a high level and 3 boys were successful in gaining selection to participate in the PSSA trials in early Term 4. Congratulations Jack Hogan, Charlie Horton and Hugo Howard. We wish you the very best of luck for the upcoming trials. 

Next week, we have our Senior Girls Paul Kelly Cup team travelling to Sydney to compete in the State Finals! This is a fantastic achievement and we wish you the very best of luck! We are looking forward to hearing all about your experiences.

GIRLS AFL SESSIONS

Starting this Sunday Brett Sanson is helping to run some AFL sessions for any girls in Year 3-6 who are interested in having a kick. There will be 4 sessions in total and they will run for a duration of about 1 hour. 

The sessions will be on the No. 2 oval at the Lavington Sports ground for anyone wanting to come along.

The sessions will be on the following dates and times.

1. Sunday 11th 10am.

2. Thursday 15th 4:30pm.

3. Sunday 18th 10am.

4 Thursday 22nd 4:30pm.
