On July 6th, 2022, Dustin was dirt biking with friends and had an accident on a jump that he had landed many times before. He fell onto his feet to flat ground from roughly 40 feet in the air, sustaining complex injuries to both legs. Over the last few days, he has had multiple surgeries, with more to come.
For almost 9 years, Dustin has run a successful mechanic shop in Salida, CO (Rushton Automotive). Unfortunately, he will not be able to stand or walk on his legs for quite some time. Dustin will have continued support from his fantastic wife, Amber, and their incredible sons, Josh and Isaiah. But the family will need some help financially covering many expenses due to their time out of work.
