This is the Week!
Time to Enter Your Fiber Art

It's time for our annual  Bring Your Own Fiber Art Exhibit where your pieces can be on display for the Community to see.

The Exhibit will open this Saturday, so now is the time to bring in your items and show your creations.  You have the option to have these items for sale or not. We love having a show that highlights the talents of our community, so everyone is invited.

You may submit up to four pieces for $4.00 each  or 4 items for $12.00.

The Exhibition at Studio Bob's gallery will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday September 10, noon to 3 p.m. Sunday September 11th.

Art pieces may be brought to Cabled Fiber through September 8th from 11am to 5pm or to Studio Bobs on Friday September 9  from 5-7pm.

Applications are available online or at Cabled Fiber.

We look forward to showing what you have created!

Two Events September 18 
Yarn Tasting and Color Theory Class

We are super excited about the upcoming visit from Cascade Yarns Owner and designer Shannon Dunbabin on Sunday September 18th

Shannon will be giving us two programs.

Cascade Color Class 10am-12pm

Hone your color skills at this fun, approachable workshop hosted by Shannon Dunbabin of Cascade Yarns. In this amazing workshop you will receive a color wheel, as well as samples of Noble Cotton. The workshop will begin with Shannon covering the basics of color theory & how to use a color wheel. You will then have an opportunity to play with different color combinations.

The class fee will be applied to purchase of any Cascade yarn in stock the day of the class.

Sampling with Shannon 1pm-3pm

Sample a variety of yarns from Cascade Yarns while you visit with other fiber enthusiasts!

You'll get to try current and new yarns from the large variety that Cascade Yarns has to offer. Shannon will give you insight into the characteristics of fibers used in Cascade yarns and background on how and where they are made. The class fee will be applied to purchase of any Cascade yarn in stock the day of the class

We’ll have door prizes and of course, fun!

Cascade Yarns Announces Their 2022 Crochet Along
Peacock Plumes Afghan

Installments will be released on a weekly basis every Wednesday starting on September 21 and running through November 16, for a total of 9 installments.

If you are interested in purchasing a CAL Kit, please let us know.  We would need 5 people participating for us to purchase the quantities necessary for this project and to have a CAL gathering in the store.
