The challenge facing innovators in digital health products and services is how to demonstrate  a range of key buying criteria to health systems, hospitals and clinicians  including safety, improved outcomes and financial savings. This session will explain how a leading publication approaches the decision to review papers submitted for publication as well as common mistakes and pitfalls.

How is health data being used in research and policy to develop digital health services to support the recovery of health systems from COVID-19 crisis?
How could Member States practically help each other to recover from the pandemic?
What are the good examples of how data and digital services have already helped?

The pandemic has confirmed how updated and high-quality health data is key to shape health policies and provide citizens with tools and medicines that are effective and contribute for their wellbeing. However, we still struggle to access, use and re-use health data. The main challenges encountered in different projects and initiatives are discussed to then focus on practical examples of how to overcome them towards success.
