UPCOMING EVENTS

Education Abroad Fair
October 4, 2022, 10AM-2PM, Exhibition Hall
Learn more about nearly 130 international education possibilities offered at Tech. Remember that your two terms abroad for the IP have to be coherent ("connected," either via your chosen IP foreign language or by writing an essay demonstrating the connection through a specific topic in your major).

This event is a great way to speak with the entire Education Abroad team of advisors for Faculty-Led Programs, Exchange Programs, Global Internship & Research Programs, Scholarships, and more to learn about the various options. The IP Manager will also have a table - drop by and say hello!

Graduating this semester?
If you are graduating this semester and want to have the International Plan designation on your diploma, be sure to submit a degree designation form immediately

If you are planning to graduate in spring or summer 2023, please let the IP Manager know by emailing
internationalplan@oie.gatech.edu.

Meet with IP Manager!
If you have not yet met with the IP Manager (Ilana) this year, please make an appointment! Early planning is key to your success in the IP.

Going Abroad? Make Sure It Counts!
You've picked where you want to go abroad and what you want to do - Great! Remember that there needs to be a connection between the two places you go abroad. If it's not language, you'll need to establish a topical connection ("intellectual coherence") by looking at a specific aspect of your major or a professional interest. Check out http://ip.oie.gatech.edu/Approval_Form for more information, and feel free to reach out to Ilana at ilana@oie.gatech.edu or by scheduling an appointment for more help!
