Join Battery Park City Authority and Manhattan Community Board 1 for the next steps on the North/West Battery Park City Resiliency Project.
The North/West Battery Park CityResiliency Project is mapping an approach for protective measures along the northern and western portions of Battery Park City to reduce the risks associated with storm surge and sea level rise.
We want to keep hearing from you!
The project team has reviewed and incorporated input from the community received during the Open House in June. We are excited to share updated project concepts and receive your input on the revisions.
Please attend Community Meeting #4 by visiting 6 River Terrace on Monday, September 19, 5:30 PM-8 PM.
5:30 PM: Doors open/registration begins.
6:00 PM: Panel presentation and Q&A begins.
The presentation will review the project, progress, and how feedback has been incorporated. We’ll introduce the new Progressive Design-Build team, hold a Q&A session, and discuss next steps.
7:10 PM: Q&A ends. Floor opens for commenting on boards and talking to the project team.
Following the presentation, the revised concepts will be on display for attendees to further share their input.
8 PM: Meeting ends.
The event will also be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person. A link to the meeting recording and materials will be available after the in-person meeting; members of the public can provide comments through September 26.
