Snapdragon Pro Series Closes Inaugural Season with More Than 600,000 Participating Players

First-Ever Snapdragon Pro Champions Crowned During Live Mobile Challenge Finals at Gamescom, PAX West, and More

Cologne/New York/San Diego — ESL Gaming, part of ESL FACEIT Group, and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. have crowned Snapdragon Pro Series champions in each of the live, regional Snapdragon Mobile Challenge finals for Brawl Stars and Clash of Clans. With more than 600,000 players participating and over $480,000 in prize pool money already distributed, the finals offered a spectacular showdown at PAX West, Gamescom, and more.

RESULTS: BRAWL STARS
  • North America (NA)
    • Season 1 of the Snapdragon Mobile Challenge concluded in NA on September 3 at PAX West in Seattle, Wa. (USA). The top four Brawl Stars teams from that region faced off in front of a live audience to declare a champion.
    • WINNER: STMN Esports
  • Europe, Middle East and North Africa (EUR/MENA)
    • The four best Brawl Stars teams from the EUR/MENA regions competed at what was one of the biggest Brawl Stars tournaments ever, staged live on August 27-28 at Gamescom 2022 in Cologne, Germany. Competitors faced off in a double-elimination bracket to see who would be named the first champions in the region.
    • WINNER: Reply Totem
  • Asia Pacific
    • The Asia-Pacific Brawl Stars Finals took place on July 30 as the four best teams from the regional Challenge Season gathered at the Kuala Lumpur Battle Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to play in front of a live audience. They made their way through the double-elimination bracket to claim a regional Snapdragon Mobile Challenge title.

RESULTS: CLASH OF CLANS
From August 4-7, Clash of Clans fans shared a weekend full of action as the greatest teams from NA, EUR/MENA, and India faced off at the finals event in Katowice, Poland. With a total prize pool of more than $150,000 and three regional titles up for grabs, these teams battled it out in front of their fans. The top teams from each region also had the opportunity to face each other once more for a Golden Ticket granting a spot in Supercell’s World Championship: Snapdragon Mobile Open Season 2 will continue propelling mobile esports to epic new heights ​​by gathering the best players around the world to compete in front of live audiences. Some Open Cups are already live, and competitions in more regions will soon be underway.
