Making a Difference at the Local Level

"The economy is a wholly owned subsidiary of the environment, not the reverse."

     - Herman Daly, environmentalist and former Senior Economist at the World Bank

Announcements:

Zipcars are now available in Belmont. There are two cars behind the Fire Station in the Center: a Volvo S40 and a Mazda 3. To take advantage of this program you have to join Zipcar online at www.zipcar.com , and then reserve the cars online for however long you want to take them out. There is a membership fee and then you pay an hourly rate of $9.25 for the Belmont cars, more or less for others.

If demand warrants they likely will add more vehicles and locations in Belmont.
