ESL Gaming and ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Expand Partnership as ROG Becomes Official OEM Partner of Full ESL Pro League Season 16

Cologne/New York After successful integrations during the ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference Stage and ESL Challenger Valencia, ESL Gaming, part of ESL FACEIT Group, and ASUS ROG today announced that they are expanding their collaboration. The expansion will see ROG also become the exclusive Official OEM partner of the Group Stage and Playoffs of ESL Pro League (EPL) Season 16.

ESL Gaming and ASUS ROG joined forces earlier this summer for three ESL Challenger tournaments and the EPL Conference Stage that took place live at DreamHack Summer, June 16-20. With two events included in the partnership already in the books, fruitful integrations evidently raised the audience’s awareness of the ROG brand, while engaging them in a distinctive way.

The ESL Pro League is the biggest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) league worldwide and by expanding this partnership, it became even bigger,” said Bastian Veiser, Director Partner Management at ESL Gaming. “Forming a gateway to the top, EPL offers an open ecosystem for teams with the opportunity to progress and ultimately play on the world’s biggest stages. As a partner of ESL Challenger and EPL Conference, ROG is committed to helping us lay the solid foundation needed for teams to reach the top. Expanding our partnership to also cover the Group Stage and Playoffs means that they join the teams and us all the way while we continue writing a history of legends, and we couldn’t have hoped for a better partner to join us on this journey.

Through the partnership, ROG will continue to enjoy multiple brand integrations in several broadcast segments and at live events. Additionally, through various audience engagement opportunities during the livestreams, they hope to further inspire fans and gamers worldwide to boost their overall gaming experience by introducing them to the ROG Strix SCAR 15/17 series gaming laptop powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i9 processors.

“We are proud to announce that after a solid start of our collaboration, ROG is not only continuing but expanding our partnership role with ESL Gaming,” said Galip Fu, Head of Global Marketing for Consumer and Gaming Laptops at ASUS. “ROG has always been committed to creating top tier systems to support gamers from all walks of life, and what better way to exemplify this belief than to write history within one of the biggest gaming stages in the world? We can’t wait to see what the future holds for ROG and ESL.”

We’re very pleased to have ASUS’ gaming brand, Republic of Gamers, stay on board as an official partner of the ESL Pro League,” said Alex Inglot, the ESL Pro League Commissioner. “On behalf of all the ESL Pro League partner teams, I’d like to welcome back the ROG team to the EPL family.

The Group Stage of EPL Season 16 continued in a LAN environment in Malta on August 31 as 24 of the world’s best CS:GO teams were divided into four groups. Those groups then compete for a chance to attain one of 12 available spots in the live Playoff Stage, which will take place September 27-October 2. Visit the official website for more information.
