The Right Rev. Abraham Nhail, Speaker
- Book Review: Lost Boy No More - Submitted by Clark Smith
Our speaker, the Rt. Rev. Abraham Nhial wrote the book Lost Boy No More which tells his incredible true story - the story is not his alone. As a nine-year-old child, Abraham found himself orphaned as civil war in his homeland of Sudan ravaged his entire village, because they refused to embrace Islam. His journey is one of a perilous walk along with 35,000 lost boys of Sudan who fled to Ethiopia. Abraham and others like him made it to the border but hard times were not over as he endured the refugee camps of Ethiopia. Abraham becomes a lost boy no more when he discovers real salvation through Jesus Christ. Lost Boy No More gives more than a narrative of Abraham’s story. It also gives a history of Sudan and the persecution of Christians by Islamic militants.
It is an amazing read! It is suitable for young and old alike. The book is available on Amazon.

Thursday
September 15, 7 PM, Healing Prayer Service
Our monthly healing services invite the healing presence and touch of the Lord into our lives, families, church and community. We offer prayers for healing for body, soul, spirit and relationships. At our services, there is no calling people out, requirement to identify needs, say anything or get out of your seat. We pray for healing for the congregation, and if those present would like to receive personal prayer, what they share is confidential and completely voluntary. Join us to receive the Lord’s healing and to offer your prayers for others.
