A Word from Pastor Jono:
Wow! The summer's over and a new school year's starting! As always, our prayer for you and your family would be that you all grow deeper in your walk with Jesus in the upcoming season.
To that end, I'd also like to encourage you to consider attending weekend services together as a family every week. If you are already doing that, that is great! If you aren’t, I invite you to consider the lasting impact it can have on your kids and family as they consistently spend time with you worshipping the Lord together. While it might be somewhat of a challenge on a Sunday morning, I cannot overemphasize the importance of kids bearing witness to what happens during times of worship together: the formative opportunities to see you listen, wrestle, confess, surrender and even cry out to Jesus in times of need.
Of course, before or after worshipping together as a family, our Kids and Student Ministries will have further opportunities for your kids and youth to learn and grow in their faith with their peers. And during this time, it would give you the opportunity to fellowship and connect with other parents in the Café, take in a class or find a place to serve at that time! I hope you will prayerfully consider this for your family! It might not always be easy, but it is truly worth it.
Blessings,
Pastor Jono
