Church Family,

One of my favorite passages to read is Acts 2:42-47 (CSB) which states:

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.”

I love the picture we see here of the church coming together regularly for multiple reasons. For teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. Our faith family is about to enter a season where we can put these very things into practice. We have several ministry areas that are kicking off soon that you can join such as men and women’s ministries, life groups, Bible Drill for children and youth events.

I would encourage you to find an area that you can be part of and enjoy the fellowship of other brothers and sisters. I’m sure there are some life groups who will have some form of “bread breaking” when they meet and time for hearing each other’s prayer needs. There is something for everyone to be part of something. Our prayer through these gatherings is that God would be glorified, we grow in our faith and understanding of God, and that we would see our friends, neighbors, and those around us come to know the Lord.
