Community Info

Expressions of Interest for Kookaburra Court Site close on Friday 6 May at 4pm (AEST).
Whiddon Walgett – Expression Of Interest (EOI)
14th March 2022
Whiddon has made the difficult to decision to close our Aged Care Home at Walgett after providing care for the Walgett community for more than a decade. We have worked with residents to find them a new place to call home and are doing everything we can to support our dedicated employees.
We have always been so proud to be an active member and supporter of such a wonderful community, as both a care provider and employer. As such, we think it is fitting that the property and building remain a valuable community asset and have commenced an Expression of Interest Process to transition the property to a suitable Not-for-profit organisation or government agency.
Whiddon Walgett EOI | 146 Fox St, Walgett
Whiddon is divesting our existing property located in Walgett, NSW via Expressions of Interest.
Whiddon Walgett is located in Walgett, NSW on an 8,490 m2 site and represents a highly versatile existing and vacant Residential Aged Care Facility and an opportunity for a non-profit, or a government agency, to commence or expand their services to the Walgett community.
Expressions of Interest close on Friday 6 May at 4pm (AEST).
To request more information or to arrange an inspection please contact Planix Projects via email details provided within the EOI Information Pack: https://www.whiddon.com.au/walgett-expression-of.../
