This Month's Charity
For May I will be supporting Greening Australia by donating 5% from the sale of each doll to their environmental work across the country.

This month I want to thank Sascha, and Anne - both in Victoria for generously donating dolls to me. Thank you both so much!

DIY Tips and Ideas
I've been a bit inspired by my daughter Connie who has been tie-dying some of her clothes recently. I've made some swirly patterned gumboots for my dolls this month, and I may even try some mini tie dye patterns on fabric to make dolls clothes. Unfortunately I haven't had time to do this over the busy school holidays we've had, but I'll certainly post some pictures to my social media when I do, so stay tuned.

Family Life
School holidays have just come to an end here in Tassie, and here are a few photos showing what we have been up to. Connie is getting very proficient at cooking all sorts of cakes and dinners ( wearing one of her tie-dye creations too), we have been potting some cyclamens as indoor plants, visiting the historical schoolroom at Franklin House in Launceston (featuring some unusual life-sized dolls!), and science experiments with cousins.
