Incumbent Commissioner Madison Cawthorn’s staff responded to the invitation to attend but declined and said that during the primary election Rep. Cawthorn would only be attending two public forums, one hosted by the Henderson County Republican Party, his home county, and the other hosted by NC 11 GOP. 

On Thursday, all candidates for Macon County Commissioner will be in attendance and will be participating in a Q&A.

 

Local Keller Williams agents prepare for annual day of service
 

Each year on the second Thursday of May, Keller Williams agents, leadership members and associates step away from daily business duties, proudly donning their red KW gear and venturing into their communities with three goals in mind: Renew, Energize, Donate.

Widely known as RED DAY, this annual service took shape in May 2009 in celebration of Keller Williams vice chairman Mo Anderson’s birthday.  Fourteen years later, RED DAY 2022 will take place on Thursday, May 12th throughout the world.
