Mark Your Calendars: ABODE Art Show & Sale
Hey there, art lovers! It's almost time for ABODE's Spring Art Show and Sale, Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15!
You may recall last year’s highly successful show featured the work of Brother Cletus. This year, we’re featuring E. Gordon West (left) of the Watercolor Gang – and our other favorite artists (listed below).
We have a lovely array of Gordon's signed originals and limited-edition prints – so come get ’em while they last!
Since 1964, Gordon and the Watercolor Gang members have traveled, painted and exhibited together, often doing shows to benefit ABODE.
We are delighted to honor Gordon with our May show and hope you can join us at Brown Hall, Church of Reconciliation, 8900 Starcrest Dr., for our two events:
• Saturday, May 14, Opening Reception with Silent Auction, 5-8 pm
• Sunday, May 15, Brunch Show, 10 am-1 pm
Both events include fabulous catering from FrankieB Bakery and wines from Judy Tierney – Scout & Cellar wine consultant.
Here's a sneak peek at what you'll see from our favorite artists – we even have signed original and limited-edition Brother Cletus pieces for you:
Confirmed artists: Lyn Belisle, Michelle Belto, Toni Cheshire, Jim Collier, Vikki Fields, Bruce Flohr, Lesta Frank, Becky Hadley, Terry Gay Puckett, Edwin Sasek, Patsy Sasek, Steven Smith, Peter Szarmach and E. Gordon West.
Along with that, we have Vintage Chairs Reimagined!
Several artists, including Terry Gay Puckett (left) and Patsy Sasek (right) have taken old vintage chairs and given them new life! Don't miss these – and other beautiful pieces – in our silent auction Saturday night!
Interested in attending? Please send an email to help us plan our social distancing – and how much food and wine to order! We hope you'll join us!
