A BIG THANK YOU to everyone that has volunteered to assist with the 4-5-6 Honor Choir event! It was another successful Honor Choir day. With 207 singers at St. Andrew's Church, there was a lot of joyful singing, friendships created and music making happening all day. These people were essential to the success of this event! Thank you for your time, energy and commitment!

Application for Summer Dialogue Scholarships
On-Line applications to receive a scholarship to attend the 2022 Summer Dialogue at St. John's University (August 3-5) are now available on the ACDA-MN website with these award offerings:
FULL SCHOLARSHIP
- Registration and 2 Nights of On-Campus Housing = $369
- Eligibility: 2 years or less of teaching/conducting in Minnesota schools
- recent college graduates are eligible
PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP
- Registration = $269
- Eligibility: First time Dialogue attendees regardless of years of experience

State Conference Performance Applications
Make plans now to apply and bring your choral ensemble to the ACDA-MN State Conference weekend this coming November 18-19 located at the beautiful campus of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi. Choirs of all age and ability levels are welcomed to submit an application for either a Full Performance or Clinic Performance session.

SUMMER DIALOGUE REGISTRATION SITE

The 2022 Summer Dialogue registration site will open on Tuesday, May 10
with early registration deadline on Wednesday, June 15

Annual Awards Program
Nominations are now being accepted for nominations related to the annual Advocate for Choral Excellence (ACE) Award with nominations directed to any of these District Chairs:

Nominate a deserving ACDA-MN member for the annual Awards Program:
- Emerging Choral Director Award
- Minnesota Choral Director of the Year Award
- F. Melius Christiansen Lifetime Achievement Award
- VocalEssence Creative Programming Award - (college/university and community choruses are eligible in 2022)
Applications require the nomination form to be filled out with three letters of recommendation.

Community Sing with Stewart Copeland
Join legendary rock drummer Stewart Copeland along with VocalEssence conductors, Philip Brunelle and G. Phillip Shoultz, III, as they lead a sing-along featuring music of The Police including the following favorites: Every Breath You Take, Don’t Stand So Close To Me, and Message in a Bottle. Copeland won’t be on the drum set this time, but he’ll help introduce us to some of your favorite hits from one of your favorite bands. Bring your outdoor voice and get ready to ROCK.
