Movement & Meditation teacher Kristin DeGroat will teach a new class on relaxation and meditation starting weekly this Thursday May 5th. from 7-8pm.
This is one-hour restorative class begins with physical and mental relaxation and ends with meditation. Practicing this class regularly can help people remain calm and centered in the face of stress, which has been shown to exacerbate the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease (PD).
This live, virtual class will take place via Zoom and is open to people with PD and their care partners every Thursday night at 7:00pm. A $10 minimum donation is requested, though no one will be turned away.
