UPF and EUTOPIA European University to host the Times Higher Education European University Summit on 16 and 17 May

The European Commission’s European Universities Strategy, which seeks to create new supranational educational institutions, will be the main subject dealt with at the conference. The event is part of the programme of the UNESCO World Conference on Higher Education, which takes place the same week in Barcelona.

Four researchers linked to UPF awarded an ERC Advanced Grant 2021

The innovative projects by Albert Esteve and Marta Reynal-Querol, to be conducted at the UPF departments of Political and Social Sciences and Economics and Business, respectively, and those by Alberto Martín (Centre for Research in International Economics, CREI) and Mar Albà (Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute, IMIM), both centres involving the University, have obtained funding from the European Research Council.

Join us at the BISS, on campus!

The Universitat Pompeu Fabra offers the Barcelona International Summer School (BISS) as a flagship program to advance the curriculum of both domestic and international undergraduate students during the summer term. A wide array of on-campus courses will be offered in 2022. Courses can be taken in English, Spanish or Catalan, in and international classroom environment. They are structured in modules of different duration and intensity, which can be flexibly combined in periods ranging from one to four weeks.
