It’s a busy week in Downtown Tulsa as Oklahoma Future Farmers of America, Cinco de Mayo festivities, and Mayfest kick off the Month of May. Please be advised of the following road closures and impacts. Full details are available on our website here.

Tulsa Mayfest 2022 is upon us this week and, as always, with all the fun, art, and reverie comes increased traffic and congestion due to road closures and increased visitation. Here is what you can expect toward the end of this week and into the weekend.

Road Closures Beginning at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2022*:

  • Boston will close from Cameron to Archer
  • Martin Luther King Jr. will close from I-244 to Archer
  • Detroit will close from I-244 to Archer
  • Elgin will close from Reconciliation Way to Archer
  • Cameron will close from Boston to Detroit
  • Reconciliation Way will close from Boston to Elgin

*Access will be provided for business parking lots and residential garages within the festival site as communicated to those affected groups

3rd Street from Frisco Ave to Detroit Ave in front of the BOK Center is closed through Thursday 5/5 for the Oklahoma Future Farmers of America conference.
 



Cinco de Mayo Events

Boston Ave between 5th St and 6th St will be closed beginning 5/4 through 5/5 8:00 am for Elote’s Cinco de Mayo Street Festival.

2nd St from Detroit Ave to Elgin Ave will be closed from 5/4 through noon on 5/6 for the Blue Dome Cinco de Mayo Street Party.
