Participants will discuss how to set boundaries, communicate expectations, ask for feedback, and discuss difficult issues with friends, mentors, colleagues, and supervisors. Becoming a Resilient Scientist is a series to help postdocs develop the resilience they need to navigate challenging situations at work and in life. Each discussion will center around the resilience of postdocs and postdoc office admins but will also include ways to apply the session material as participants move towards becoming mentors in their fields.
SUNY Startup Summer School (S4) is a ten-week virtual training program that provides faculty, students, and staff with the knowledge and networks that will enable them to commercialize breakthrough technology.
All SUNY faculty, students, staff, startup leaders, and community members with entrepreneurial ambition are encouraged to enroll. S4 runs from early June through mid-August and there is no cost to participate.
