Register your interest to learn more by email info@visitphillipisland.com.au by 12pm Monday 2nd May

The program has been designed specifically to help local tourism business owners and leaders navigate well-being, people leadership and business recovery challenges in the year ahead. Work commitment will be completed by the end of October.

The innovative program involves both group and individual sessions to enable collaboration as well as individual 1-1 mentoring to ensure confidentiality and tailored solutions for each business.

Two business representatives can attend from each business.

The hands-on and fully integrated program will include:
  • 3 onsite workshop sessions  - May 19, July 28 and September 8
  • 3 online group coaching calls – mid-June, mid-July and mid-October
  • 6 x 1-1 mentoring sessions (online)  - May, June, August and October
  • 5 x accountability check in calls – May, June, July, August and September

Program facilitator Genevieve Matthews has worked in the industry for 30+ years and is an experienced tourism leadership mentor specialising in business growth and people leadership.

The program will focus on support, accountability and capability development to overcome challenges. Genevieve will work with participants on how to get out of the reactive thinking mode post-COVID and start to look at short, medium and long term goals, planning and taking action again.

Discussions will also include how to handle the pressures of labour shortage, family or relationship dynamics, being overstretched or understaffed with existing team and staff.  Fluctuating motivation, addressing areas of habits, routine, organisation and process that can be improved, lack of clarity on steps to take and priority areas of focus will also be addressed.

Genevieve will work with participants on planning, problem-solving, decision-making and action-taking skills to regrow their business and the region in 2022.

We need a minimum of 8 businesses for this program to run.
