Diocesan Campus Ministry Update – April/May 2022

Updates from Barth House

Barth House launches our young adult ministry with a casual gathering of snacks, drinks, and fun this Thursday, April 28 at 7:15 pm. Please forward this email to any young(ish) adults in the diocese. Other events for young adults are in the works as well!

Continuing activities include FREE yoga on Thursdays at 6 pm (preceded by optional evening prayer at 5:30) and our Wednesday Holy Eucharist at noon. Father Tom Momberg preaches and presides today, and we welcome guest clergy members to contact us if interested in this opportunity.

We finished off the semester with a fantastic, final College Night meal and "sending off" of our seniors, including a new tradition of "painting the rock." See our photos on instagram or facebook. Next week, many of our local universities begin final exams, and we'll be on campus with food and stress-relieving activities.

Know a college student or young adult in the diocese? Forward this email and encourage them to join us – and opt-in to future monthly newsletters

Barth House to Offer Young Adult Programs

Barth House is branching into programming for young adults in the diocese. All young adults in the diocese are invited to our kick-off mixer on Thursday April 28 at 7 pm. Questions? Please contact Rev. Sarah or Rev. Noah

Thank you, Volunteers!

Thank you to all the diocesan volunteers who provided Sunday night dinners to our college students. We could not have done it without you!

Student Intern Opportunity

The Community of St. Mary invites young people to experience a year alongside the Community, rooted in S.O.I.L (Sacramental, Organic, Intentional Living), sharing the rhythm and routine of daily prayer, working in the Convent and the garden, and representing the Community in the surrounding community as well as the world at large.
