Raising Children

in the

Digital Age

Judge John Broderick and Jeff Levin will be at CCHS on April 27th at 7pm to talk to parents about the petri dish this generation lives in, the many stressors and challenges students are facing in today’s environment, and the best ways to deal with it all.

John is the Sr. Director of External Affairs at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and a former Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court. For the last six years he has been traveling and speaking throughout New England on mental health awareness. He has visited over 300 schools and spoken to more than 90,000 students, most in grades 6-12. He will share what he has seen and learned from thousands of confided conversations with students.

Jeff Levin, M.S.W., was a middle school teacher for six years and was a teacher in Carlisle MA, and then, for more than thirty-five years, has counseled kids and families, first as a therapist and now as a life coach. He is the co-founder of the Reconnection Project, which helps young people, their families, and schools address the very real mental health challenges today’s youth are facing. He works with students, athletes, athletic teams, parents, and schools to reduce the rising levels of stress, anxiety, and depression seen in today’s students. Thankfully, these problems are solvable, and he will share his thoughts on what parents can do to help their children.
