Friends and co-laborers.
Our life, our calendar, our schedule, our attention span is so full of noise, full of distraction, of busyness.
iPhone tells me once a week how many hours of screen time I’m getting and to my shame, it is high. Most of the use is on good things; news, email, calls, internet research, scripture reading, note taking and yes, also gaming and browsing…which sometimes leaves me anxious, exhausted, angry, disappointed and emotionally spent.
Not what God intended for a life of peace.
How about you?
Can you relate as well?
Our souls know it well, we need QUIET.
Scripture says that God speaks in the quiet and uses a quiet voice…which usually it is drown out in the noise, distraction and busyness of this frantic pace of life.
May I invite you to be mindful and practice God’s presence in this season?
Let’s get some intentional quiet during the week and hear what God is speaking to our souls and the souls of our nations.
Join us in praying, in linking arms on behalf of the poor, in putting our lives down for the sake of eternal and kingdom causes.
