April CAMN Chapter Meeting??


April is Volunteer Appreciation Month and
WE APPRECIATE YOU ALL!  
 
To show our gratitude for all that you do as volunteers both in the community and within the CAMN organization - we will have some special yummy treats for you at the meeting tonight!  So be sure to come in-person if you are able, to enjoy some "made with love and appreciation" snacks and get to know your fellow CAMN members!

"Owls at Home: Hoo's in Your Neighborhood?"

Guest Speaker: Dr. Tonya Homayoun

Wednesday, April 27th, from 6:30-8 p.m.

Found in nearly every type of land habitat on the planet, owls are some of the most iconic and mysterious birds with which we share out world.  This presentation will introduce some of the basics of owl biology, the role they play in our ecosystems, and the ways they intersect with human culture.  There will be a focus on a few common owl species you may encounter in Central Texas and she will discuss some ways we can support them in our backyards and beyond!
Attending this presentation in-person or on virtually earns 1 hour of Advanced Training (AT: Advanced Training CAMN Chapter Meeting)
