Nowhere needs YOU to volunteer to make Nowhere happen (but you already know that)

Nowhere’s volunteer system FIST is up and running, and there’s plenty for Nobodies to do! Sign up for everything from pre-event projects to strike here https://fist.goingnowhere.org

We’re especially looking for a handful of people who are able to be the first on site for placement and demarcation, if you’re able and willing to be first on the ground (and want to play with our GPS machine) then contact cityplanning@goingnowhere.org

Remember, Nowhere can’t happen without your involvement so get stuck in: https://fist.goingnowhere.org

SCHEDULE YOUR SHIFTS IN FIST

We're urgently looking for Spanish speaking minions during set-up at Nowhere!!!!

Do you speak English & Spanish? Do you like helping make sure things get ordered and delivered to the teams that need them? You enjoy various forms of resource management in real life? Come help the Site and Logistics Coordinator make her magic happen! You'll assist with the provider deliveries onsite.

If you have those language skills and can be on site from set-up until strike, please email your show of interest to site@goingnowhere.org.

Wanna play with dusty radios? We also need a Radio Lead!

Without you, people on shifts far from each other can’t communicate! We need you to ensure we have working radios, and that people who need them get them. You will learn (or already know) how to program and operate radios. There is some prep work before the event (ensuring our equipment is functional, and ordering anything missing), and during build and event time ensuring the radios are allocated to people who need them.

If you aren’t already familiar with radio use and operation, but have wanted to learn, this is a great way to get up to speed on a new skill set. If you’re good at techy things and want to help everyone communicate, contact site@goingnowhere.org

Safe House lead. Sounds important, right?

The Safe House Lead is responsible for overseeing the off-site Safe House location in the near-by town of Sariñena. The safe house is a quiet and safe place off-site, used to help volunteers rest and recover. The goal is the prevention and treatment of burnout, and a place for recovery in case or injury or illness. As the Safe House Lead, you make sure that Safe House can be used for its intended function, and you are the contact person between teams on-site and the volunteers or participants using the Safe House.

Do you think this sounds like you? Excited about the role? Let us know by emailing: site@goingnowhere.org or signing up on fist.goingnowhere.org
