ALL COMMITTEE NIGHT TONIGHT AT SIX PM!

Fourth Wednesday of the month is always our All Committee Night!

Join us for our April All Committee night!  Spring is here, and all the great seeds of collective community effort we planted last Summer and Fall have sprouted!  All Committee Nights start with a brief staff update about what's been going on at the Land Trust (a *lot* has been going on this Spring!!) and then everyone breaks off into separate breakout rooms for each committee meeting.  Tonight Acquisitions, Resource Development, and Governance are all meeting, new members welcome!  If you're interested in joining the Acquisitions Committee, please email info@pnlt.ca first, Acquisitions is a bit special because of the confidential nature of the work that Committee does.

We hope to see everyone there!

A PART TO PLAY IN THE 18th BIENNALE!

Architects Against Housing Alienation has won the right to represent Canada at the 18th International Architecture Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia in 2023!

Staff (as urban planning and architecture professionals) are thrilled that AAHA asked us to collaborate with them in their Biennale submission to help tell the story of housing alienation and why our society needs to do better!  This activity will literally introduce the world to some of the great work we are doing here in Parkdale, along with other similar organisations across Canada!

Volunteers needed for a Garage Cleaning Party 4:30 PM May 5th!

Our Storage Room "Garage" at 22 Maynard needs a big Spring Cleaning, if you would like to help out, we'll be sorting all the equipment and tools at 4:30 on Thursday May 5th!  at 5:30 we will be doing yard cleanup and garden planning with Maynard tenants as well, so feel free to stay and participate in that, too!

FUNDRAISING CONSULTANT NEEDED!

We are seeking a fundraising consultant to design and deliver a targeted fundraising campaign to provide crucial support to our growing portfolio of affordable housing. Deadline for proposals is May 6th, 2022

LOOKING FOR A QUANTITY SURVEYOR!

The Land Trust is beginning the process of renovating and improving the 81 buildings we recently took over from TCHC, and that means we need to find a Quantity Surveyor to make sure we are getting good value for the more than $20 million we will be spending over the next few years!

See the Request for Proposals here!
