Thank you for joining us for the Art Show this past week! We hope you enjoyed seeing your child's artwork and sharing in their sense of pride.
It's hard to believe that we are entering the last month of our school year. Our staff and teachers appreciate your partnership as we have navigated this year together. We celebrate with you all of the learning and growth your children have experienced this year. For those of you moving on from St. James, we wish you well!
Important Dates:
Mon. May 2--Summer Fun Camp tuition is due (You will receive an invoice through Procare. You can pay online through the Procare app, or pay in person by cash or check.)

Every year, we send a program evaluation survey to our families to give you the opportunity to give feedback about your experience at St. James Preschool. We value your feedback, and will use the information you provide to guide our planning for the future, including our Quality Improvement Plan. The survey is anonymous, and the results will be shared with the Preschool Board and our teaching staff. We will also share the results with parents in an upcoming newsletter.
We would love to see 100% parent participation in this evaluation. It is a short survey that will only take about 5 minutes or less. Thank you!

Save the date!
We are planning an end of year celebration with an ice cream party during the last week of school. Parents and family members are invited to join us at 1:00 pm for a slide show and then we'll go out to the playground for a cool treat and playtime with friends before we say goodbye for the summer.

TK Bears, WTh Busy Bees, and WThF Sharks--Thurs. May 19
**The WThF Sharks class will still have their last day of school on Friday, May 20, but we want to celebrate with our friends from the other classes on Thursday.

At the end of each year the preschool board asks parents to team together to show their appreciation for the fantastic learning year that the SJP teaching team has provided your children.
There will be a donation jar available on the table outside of the preschool office where you can drop your cash donation of appreciation.
You can also donate online using THIS LINK and selecting "Teacher Appreciation."
These donations will be combined so that the SJP staff can celebrate with a fun outing and a dinner together afterwards. Let’s join together and show our teachers just how much we have appreciated their hard work this year!

End of Year Fundraising Update
Thank you! We achieved our goal and more! We earned approximately $3,200 through our planned fundraising activities and $19,794 as COVID relief grant funding. We were able to offer a portion of that grant funding back to our families as a COVID relief refund. We are so thankful for our community partners, St. James Church members, and YOU for participating and supporting young children. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of providing a high quality early childhood education. It takes additional support from our community. WE DID IT!!
