Between a 13-month pregnancy and a year of nursing, gray whales have earned the right to expect elaborate courtship rituals and a threesome. The two males not only flirt together as they roll and rub around the female, but also help each other and the female to get in position by propping each other up so that belly-to-belly mating can take place. @heal2end . Welcome to the May Edition of #NotForSocialMedia where we speak our mind without the oppressive limitations of social media.

Because of the dedication and generosity of our supporters, AKA people like you, we just finished filming the second season of CAUTION: Unrestricted called, "Family Dirt." We can't wait to release the episodes, but there are still a few steps left.

We are looking for commentators and have an open filming date on May 23rd from 1-4PM EST. Do you have family feelings? Do have experience sharing your stories? Did you love the first season and want to be a part of Caution? You do not need to identify as a survivor to be a commentator.

If you said yes to any of these, please sign up to be a part of the open filming. Deadline is May 19. Note: This filming is BIPOC only, but if you are interested in joining for future seasons, please sign up and we will be in touch!

Exhilarated by the work we are doing? Continue with us on this NFSM adventure =)

#RASHIMandFriends

In this iteration of RASHIM & Friends, the blobs are at it again discussing love and intimacy within friendships. In RASHIM's Orbit of Connection, we discuss the cultural shift that is needed to re-envision our loving relationships

[ID: A 4-panel comic strip. The title of the comic series is RASHIM & Friends. The title of this specific comic is “love”. The first panel has a green cartoon character dancing and smiling with text on top of them that reads, “I've been exploring love and intimacy in my friendships and feel more fulfilled than I have in a long time. I finally found a form of love that works for me!” The second panel has a red cartoon character with their arms crossed and frowning. The pink character has text on top of them that reads, “Meh. Friendships can be great, but you can't give up on real love. You haven't felt love until you find someone you wanna marry and have kids with. Don't ruin your future with this friendship talk.” The third panel has a blue cartoon character who is smiling. On top of them there is text that reads, “Marriage and reproduction has always been more about survival than love. Truth is, "real love" and intimacy are abundant in all kinds of relationships, and we get to experience them with whomever we want.” The fourth panel has the blue character smiling and the green character smiling with their hands in the rock on position. The text on top of the blue character reads, “So, let's celebrate your loving relationships, no matter what they are called!“ The text on top of the green character reads, “Daymmn, validation feels sooo good!” At the bottom of the graphic, there is gray text that reads, “@heal2end, Learn more at heal2end.org/rashim.”]

#MemesForThot

Did we tell you how much we love making these memes? =) This one highlights the struggle of finding major funders through traditional philanthropy for the radical work that we do. This is why we rely on people like you to help us keep going.
[ID: A meme split into two sections horizontally. The top section has a large mob of kangaroos with text on the top that reads, “How we thought it would go when we told funders it is possible to end CSA.” The bottom section is the same place with only one kangaroo with text that reads, “How it actually went when they realized the road to ending csa passes through dismantling the systems that made them rich. @heal2end.”]

#ThereIsAWordForThat

What is called when you feel unsafe dressing outside the gender you were assigned? Why is it normalized for parents and relatives to comment on your body and sex life? What explains the cruel practice of withholding life-saving information about sex and bodies from children? We call it sexual oppression.
[ID: A graphic with a black chalkboard background. On the left side, there is white text that reads, “Sexual Oppression, noun, related to: culture of sexual violence and sexual harm, Sexual Oppression is a system of marginalization upholding the rigid moral, cultural, and legals structures that dictate which types of bodies, sex, love, and relationships deserve recognition, legitimacy, and protection. , heal2end.org/glossary, @heal2end.”]
