We will meet on Wednesday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Richard Preston’s The Wild Trees: A Story of Passion and Daring. Preston takes us into the upper story world of the Pacific coast redwoods, some of the largest and oldest organisms on earth. These majestic, yet fragile trees support entire ecosystems in their upper story, worlds which can only be explored in person by climbing. To that end, Preston introduces us to the risk takers who explore these trees in person by climbing 300 feet into their branches and trunks.
