May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month. Not long ago our Friends of the Library group sponsored a Pacific Islander collection. Take a look at the list. Summer, and summer reading, is fast approaching. We'll send out more details about Summer Reading soon including the exciting return of Movie Mondays and Terrific Tuesday programs! Read on to see what's coming up this month.

Upcoming Events

Tech Night @ The Library
Thursday, May 26 from 5 PM - 7 PM
Did you know the library has a scanner that scan 60 photos a minute? Or that we have a portable photo studio available for checkout? Maybe you've been holding off on trying out Bridges because downloading and using the app is too daunting. Stop by the library any time during our open house style tech night and get a little more familiar with the things we have to offer, there's probably more available than you realize!

Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month
Maquoketa has a wonderful Pacific Islander community here in town. Consider learning a bit by checking out a book from our Pacific Islander collection. It will be on display throughout the month of May. We have a local, Pacific Islander-owned business not far from the library. Make a stop at DJ's Mini Mart to see what's available.
