This Sunday we hear Paul preach on Saul and Ananias - the call of Saul is well known, but Ananias was called by God to be present and to lay hands on Saul for the scales to come off! That was risky!
In his commentary on the reading this week, Eric Barreto, an associate professor at Luther Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota, said preachers should:
Tell people to Expect God to ask them to do difficult things and go to unexpected places.
As we recognize our 3rd anniversary of becoming an affirming congregation - we need to continue to dare to step into something more than we expected.
Don and Sarah will be our liturgsts and music is offered by the full ESG choir with Shawn Grenke.
