Neighbourhood House Week, happening 9-15 May, is a nationwide initiative to celebrate the role of Neighbourhood Houses and Living & Learning Centres in local communities across the nation.

To celebrate Neighbourhood House week we invite you to sign up for one (or more!) of our activities offered from our three sites.

From making your own terrarium to taking part in a free exercise class – and even keeping the kids busy with a cupcake decorating workshop – there are plenty of exciting activities happening this Neighbourhood House Week (NHW) at Living & Learning Nillumbik. Bookings are essential due to limited places.
For more information on Neighbourhood House Week at Living & Learning Nillumbik click here.

Do you have a large jar at home that you could donate for our Neighbourhood House Week terrarium activity? We need some jars for participants to use. Jar dimensions are minimum 12cm, up to18cm wide and height 15-20cm. A large 400g Moccona jar would be the ideal size. Lids are optional.

We also need some games and packs of cards for our new weekly games and cuppa drop in session. Do you have any lying around at home that have all of their pieces but not really getting much use? Please drop them in at the Diamond Creek office!

Please note visitors to our centres are no longer required required to have two doses or show their vaccination status and are no longer required to check-in using the Service Victoria app as per the Victorian State Government.
