With a trusted history of over 135 years of the finest viticulture heritage in the world, the Angove Family is committed to producing vines with better balance, fruit concentration and overall vineyard biodiversity and health.

Every grape, and every wine, is family grown, certified organic, hand-crafted and estate bottled, under a set of guiding principles of that speak to their respect for their land.

Place - Soil

As proud South Australians, the Angove family are always thinking about the generations to come, always planning for the long-term, and always taking care of the soil that is their past, present and future.

It is one of the key reasons they have been a leader in the adoption of sustainable and organic winemaking practices, safeguarding the future of their vineyards, their land, the wine regions and the wine industry in South Australia. Their belief in organic vineyard management resonates as true in that naturally healthy soils and vines lead to more flavourful and delicious wines.

Craft - Winemaking

Winemaking is a blend of science and art, a craft that captures the soil, site and season.

From soil to grape to glass, growing grapes and making wine has always been at the heart of the Angove family. They believe that great wines begin in the vineyard and are crafted and polished in the winery. Their 100-year-old winery has the benefit of both traditional and modern winemaking equipment and techniques.

"We are a wine family. Five generations of winemakers, and counting. We’ve always been, and always will be, family-owned and family-driven. Making wonderful, delicious, accessible wines for people around the world to enjoy including a vast selection of organic wines and wines from McLaren Vale."
