Exciting things are happening at Ed Oliver Golf Club. There is a new deck on the building to enjoy before or after golf. Also, the new forward set of tees are almost complete and will just need some time to firm up before they will be open for use. These tees are NOT gendered. I repeat… these tee boxes are not gendered tees (please do not call these the ladies tees) they are very simply the forward tee box for all players that would enjoy playing the course at a shorter distance. This may include juniors, seniors, new players or others.

It is already a busy start to the season so I would encourage players to plan out their tee times in advance. Also, I will be at an LPGA Pro-Am at Greenbriar Resort May 22-26 so schedule your lessons ahead!

Women’s Programs for May 2022

Women’s Practice Program - These are 1-hour sessions with up to 6 women every Tuesday or Thursday from 11-12 offered March-October (weather permitting). Ladies will be taken through various activities that will build skills, confidence and most importantly be fun and enjoyable. $20
If you find these filled check the day before as sometimes people cancel.

Women’s Friday Scrambles - Friday May 9th
This program is offered once each month on a Friday. There is warm up at 2 pm and a fun scramble from 3-5 with reception with lite food, drinks and prizes. $45

Women's Golf 101 - SORRY, FILLED
This is a 6-week program that provides women with what they need to play the game of golf. Great for new or less experienced women. Equipment can be provided. $200

Group Clinics for 2022

Lunchtime Coach - Fri., May 6th or Wed., May 18th 12-1 pm
Come get some practice and help from Becky. This is a casual 1-hour session where Becky is available to help you out. Balls included. $25

Pitching Basics - May 7th 2:30-4
Can you hit a golf ball 20-40 or 60 yards on command? If not please consider this program. Also the pitch is a great stroke which will also improve your full swing. $45

All Things Putting - Tues., May 17th 5-630pm
Green reading, stroke, tempo, putter fitting and more to lower your scores! $45.

Up and In (Chip and Putt) - Fri., May 20th 2:30-4
These two skills are very similar but much different than full swing. Come learn the strokes that WILL lower your scores! $45
