INet-NYC (International Networking in NYC) was founded in 2014 and is run by young volunteer scientists. It is an organization that aims to provide support and professional development opportunities for international STEM scientists in the NYC area. We facilitate the connection of scientists, allowing for the sharing of experiences and the formation of a strong international peer network. INet-NYC organizes professional, networking and social events that are focused on the challenges encountered by international students and opportunities available to them. We believe that, by creating a local community, INet-NYC can assist in finding solutions to career and social concerns that international scientists face.
