Welcome to Chloe Thomas

As the new Global Education Coordinator, Chloe is immensely excited to learn from and become an active member of the Kansas City community. She recently graduated with a Master's degree in International Human Rights from the University of Denver, and has experience in a wide range of nonprofits that emphasize the inherent strength and resilience of communities who are seeking solutions to their unique challenges. As Global Education Coordinator for IRC, Chloe will support local students in discovering the global opportunities available to them at the Your Global Future College and Career Fair. A few of her favorite activities include horseback riding, hiking, and backpacking across new countries. Please join us in welcoming her by sending a note or checking out her bio

Comprehensive Lesson Plan
What are the economic, humanitarian, and environmental implications of China’s Belt & Road Initiative: A Simulated UN Debate. This simulation was developed with support from the KU Center for East Asian Studies (CEAS), a Department of Education Title VI funded National Resource Center.

Presidential Character and Decision Making is a 3 day workshop for teachers. On July 8, the Ethnic Enrichment Commission, an IRC Organizational Member, will be holding a fundraiser at The Ship in the West Bottoms of Kansas City. “Global Delights” is a show to benefit the Ethnic Enrichment Commission.
