Signs of life are emerging in Marine on St. Croix and along the St. Croix River. On a recent walk, we whooped out loud when we saw bloodroot (pictured above) making its way through the leaf litter. Discovering nettle and skunk cabbage produced no less joy!

Intro to Mosaics: Hearts

Instructor Judy Bell has been on HGTV’s “Crafters Coast to Coast” and is a Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Blue Ribbon winner. She’ll teach you how to nip dishware and turn it into a beautiful mosaic. This course includes time to experiment with tile nipper styles, adhesive, dishes, and grout, and attendees will take home a completed wooden heart form mosaic.
