SLASHIE SUMMIT is back on Saturday, May 14th in Hudson Yards, New York City, and you’re invited.

Founded in October 2018 by the @slashieconnects x @browngirlmag team, the summit is a collaborative, inclusive and immersive experience that empowers hustlers, doers and creators to uncover their purpose and achieve financial independence despite the stigma behind creative aspirations.💯

Our community thrives when more creative minds and independently-led companies join the conversation, and that’s why we ourselves are slashies.

We are a group of South Asian slashies, who celebrate "non-traditional" career paths and seek to redefine professional success.👏🏾

After two years of building our community digitally through SlashieConnects.co and just in time for #aapiheritagemonth#SlashieSummit is back at a time when creatives and entrepreneurs need connection the most.🤞🏾

If the ongoing pandemic taught us anything, it’s that the value of human connection and supporting one another cannot be underestimated. This is why the theme for this year's summit is ‘Community Over Competition.’ Order the on-theme limited edition merch we dropped here.

Join us for a celebration of creativity and network in-person to strengthen the communities we've built with discount code 'slashieinsider' for 25% off at check-out before tickets sell out.
We have 9 panel discussions confirmed with more than 65 speakers attending from across the country and the world (here are the three speaker drops we've done so far — onetwo and three).

We have two keynotes happening in the morning by Versha Sharma of Teen Vogue and by Akash Mehta of Fable & Mane in the evening.

Additionally, we have more than 25 small businesses selling at our all-day marketplace and we're wrapping up the day with a Shark Tank-style pitch-off featuring 5 South Asian-founded start-ups — the winner(s) will receive an investment from our panel of judges, which is being led by my friends at Krish Nagpal and Kriti Sehgal at Chai Capital.
