#WalkWednesday: A weekly prompt to take a few minutes to wander, be present & ponder.

42: Where is your comfort zone?

Instead of getting out of your comfort zone, feel recharged by getting comfy in your comfort zone. As you wander, find places and ways of walking that make you feel at ease. Notice if you feel more comfortable on a path or off it, near people or alone, with sounds or where it's quiet, with a clear direction or feeling aimless. Be aware of the impact being in your comfort zone has on you.

My comfort zone is, of course, in a park, like here in Greenwich Park. It gives me lots of space to explore and wander within the safety of a park boundary. I feel most comfortable on the grass, avoiding the people and going where my feet take me. Even approaching a park I start to breathe differently and feel lighter.
How to #WalkWednesday:

WANDER. wherever you are - through the park, up the road, or round your room.
BE PRESENT. Take 3 deep breaths. Really notice the environment around you. Be aware of how you're feeling today.
PONDER. Gently reflect on the #WalkWednesday question.

Optional: Share your thoughts or a photo from your walk by replying to this email, chatting with me on LinkedIn or tagging @aniseb on Instagram.

Dear <<First Name>>

May is National Walking Month

We asked the Mind Powered Walking Club walkers how walking is important to them. They told us that walking is medicine, exercise, time for themselves and even a chance to find inner peace. What does walking mean for you?

Let me know how and where you will wander this month.
